Why We Built splitty

You ordered a $14 salad. Someone else ordered a $48 ribeye, two cocktails, and half the appetizer. Then someone says “let’s just split it evenly.”

You don’t say anything. You never do. But you remember it.

splitty is an iOS app that splits restaurant bills. Scan the receipt, assign items to people, and send payment requests through Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal, all before the waiter brings back your card.
